Juventus are interested in Fenerbahce striker Youssef En-Nesyri as they’re struggling to reach an agreement with Crystal Palace for Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Juventus are looking for a new striker in the January window, and Fenerbahce’s En-Nesyri is among their targets.
The Serie A giants have already sent two offers to Crystal Palace for Mateta, but they are nowhere near reaching an agreement on the transfer fee or formula, so they are exploring other options as well.
As Matteo Moretto reports on YouTube, En-Nesyri has returned to Fenerbahce after AFCON to find out that he’s ended up on the market, mostly due to financial reasons. Previous reports claimed the Turkish club would consider a loan transfer for the 28-year-old this month.
The striker would prefer to end the season at Fenerbahce, but the Turkish club is listening to proposals from other sides and has already offered him to many clubs, including Juventus and Napoli.
The Morocco international is tied to a long-term contract at Fenerbahce and earns circa €8m per season.
Moretto reports that En-Nesyri will evaluate all the offers on the table, including the one from Juventus, picking the project he enjoys the most, but the financial aspect will also play a role in his decision.
