
German-Ghanaian defender Benjamin Henrichs is still waiting to make his first appearance of the season for RB Leipzig after tearing his Achilles tendon, with his last competitive game for the club dating back to December of last year.Head coach Ole Werner has now offered a cautiously optimistic update on when the 28-year-old full-back could be back with the team.Werner explained in his pre-match press conference before the Friday game against Borussia Mönchengladbach that Leipzig âhope to integrate him again during this calendar yearâ, but stressed that patience is essential and the club will give Henrichs all the time he needs.
