Former Fiorentina goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano believes the Tuscans should sell several players, including Moise Kean and Dodo, in the January window and make new signings who see the Viola as a ‘point of arrival.’
Fiorentina are having a nightmare of a season as they sit at the bottom of the Serie A table, eight points below safety and with no wins in league games this term.
“If they play against each other, both sides will lose. There’s no spirit, no reaction, there’s nothing. I asked myself what’s going on, but I have no answer,” ex-Fiorentina keeper Viviano told Controcalcio via TMW.
“Surely, a revolution is needed. I’d change at least seven or eight players, including important ones like Kean and Dodo. Not because they are not strong, perhaps they are Fiorentina’s best players, but when there’s a lack of confidence, it’s tough to get over it, and everything is going badly. There must be enthusiasm and somebody who sees Fiorentina as a point of arrival.”
Kean has only scored two goals in Serie A this term, three in 19 appearances across all competitions.
