Reports in Italy claim that Paulo Dybala will remain out of action for one month after suffering a muscle injury in a Serie A match against Milan.
The Argentine forward had suffered an injury while taking a penalty kick against Milan on Sunday and underwent medical tests in Rome on Tuesday.
Sky Sport Italia correspondent Angelo Mangiante wrote on X social media that Dybala would remain out of action for at least three weeks as exams highlighted a moderate-grade injury of the left biceps femoris.
According to Gazzetta, La Joya won’t return to action for a month, missing the next five games for the Giallorossi.
Dybala will miss the next two matches against Rangers and Udinese before the November break, but also meetings with Cremonese, Midtjylland and, most likely, Napoli.
According to Gazzetta, Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini hopes La Joya returns to action on November 30 against the Partenopei, although a comeback in the following match against Cagliari on December 7 appears more realistic.
