Amazon Prime Video reports that Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti argued with a Bianconeri fan during tonight’s home Champions League match against Benfica: ‘Next time, stay home.’
Juventus coach Spalletti argued with a fan who had been loudly criticising the team in the opening 50 minutes of a home Champions League match against Benfica.
The Portuguese side, coached by José Mourinho, probably had the best chances in the opening 45 minutes, prompting the Allianz Stadium to boo their own team at half-time.
With Juventus still struggling early in the second half, Spalletti lost his composure and confronted a fan behind the dugout.
Amazon’s pitchside reporter Alessandro Alciato claimed that Spalletti and the fan exchanged words before the coach said: “Next time, stay home.”
Just a few minutes later, Juventus scored the opener through Khephren Thuram, and according to the same journalist, Spalletti celebrated the goal just in front of that Juventus fan.
