Roma wing-back Angeliño returned to group training on Friday, preparing to return to action after more than two months.
Roma defender Angeliño completed a full training session with the rest of the team today, according to various Italian sources, including Sky Sport Italia and Corriere dello Sport.
The Spaniard is technically a starter in Gian Piero Gasperini’s 3-4-2-1 formation, but has only made five appearances this season, playing his last match on September 28 against Hellas Verona.
Angeliño was diagnosed with asthmatic bronchitis, which considerably weakened the 28-year-old, leaving him with little muscle tone and little energy. Roma’s staff members had to rebuild his athletic condition from scratch and have now given the green light for his full return to training.
It remains to be seen whether the Spaniard will travel to Cagliari for an away Serie A match on Sunday, while Paulo Dybala and Tommaso Baldanzi will be available in Sardinia as they also trained with the rest of the team today after recovering from the flu.
