Bologna have confirmed they will be without Jhon Lucumi for around a month after sustaining an injury, but Lukasz Skorupski is on his way back.
The Rossoblu have suffered from numerous fitness concerns so far this season, stretched thin by Serie A, the Europa League, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana commitments.
Lucumi at full stretch pulled up during the 1-1 draw with Como on Saturday and immediately gestured to the bench that he needed to be substituted.
A formal statement from the club confirmed that Lucumi has been diagnosed with a low-grade lesion to the femoral bicep in the right leg and will be out of action for circa 3-4 weeks.
However, there is also good news for Bologna, as goalkeeper Skorupski was back in training with the full squad for the first time in a couple of months.
It means the only absentee still on the treatment table is Federico Bernardeschi, who fractured his clavicle during the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final against Inter last month.
