According to Tuttosport, talks between Juventus and Liverpool for Federico Chiesa are ongoing, with the Bianconeri willing to offer a loan deal with an obligation to buy tied to the Italian’s appearances in the second half of the campaign.
Juventus’ talks with Liverpool to sign Chiesa have progressed in the last two days, reports Tuttosport.
The Turin-based paper confirms that Liverpool are only open to discussing a permanent transfer, while the Bianconeri want an initial loan deal.
Tuttosport reports that Juventus are pushing to convince Liverpool with a transfer formula that could satisfy the Reds.
This means the Bianconeri are open to making an offer for Chiesa’s six-month loan deal with an option to buy that becomes an obligation to purchase if the 28-year-old makes a minimum number of appearances in the second part of the season.
Italian sources claim that Chiesa is open to returning to Turin in the January window, and according to Tuttosport, the winger recently contacted some of his ex-teammates at the Allianz Stadium to have information about the new club’s structure, which has drastically changed since he left the club in 2024.
