Interim Management Committee member of Asante Kotoko, Kwesi Appiah, beleives the club will get better in the second half of the season.The Porcupine Warriors had a difficult first half of the season but managed to finish in second spot with 30 points, losing just two games after 16 matches played in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.With the second half set to get underway this weekend,Kwesi Appiah, who now serves as the head coach of Sudan, believes the team will improve.I'm part of the IMC, and we thank God theyre also picking up. It wont be easy, especially in the second round of the league, so I am hoping that we try to pick up," he said."Last season, during the second round, some of the players had just come to the team and needed time, and that is one of the key problems we always have, he stated.And sometimes, we dont have patients, but I understand theyre now picking up slowly. I hope the second round theyre able to play and everyone whosupportsKotoko backhomegets happy," he added.Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko have improved their squad with the addition of midfielder Prince Badu from Nations FC.The Reds, who are unbeaten in their last three league matches, will travel to play Swedru All Blacks in the Matchday 17 games at the Swedru Stadium.
