Milan star Christian Pulisic completed the first part of today’s training session with the rest of the group, but remains in doubt for Thursday’s Coppa Italia game against Lazio.
There’s good news coming from Milanello today as TMW reports that Milan star Pulisic partially trained with the rest of the team today.
According to the report, Pulisic regularly worked with the rest of the team in the first part of today’s training session and, as part of his schedule, he completed the workout with individual work in the second part.
Pulisic is Milan’s best scorer this season with seven goals in 10 appearances across all competitions.
However, he’s been dealing with some muscle injuries in recent weeks, making just two appearances in the last seven league games.
Pulisic sustained a hamstring injury while on USMNT international duty in October, missing four matches.
He returned with a substitute appearance against Parma on November 8 before starting in the derby against Inter and scoring the winning goal.
Pulisic then missed Saturday’s Serie A match against Lazio due to a new muscle injury.
Milan will meet the Biancocelesti on Thursday, this time at the Olimpico in Rome in the Coppa Italia Round of 16.
Technically, Pulisic has recovered from his latest injury, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll be fit enough to be part of the team for the next match.
