Barcelona interested in signing “fantastic” Chelsea star with 6 G/A this season

Chelsea’s rise under Enzo Maresca shows no signs of slowing, with the Blues looking increasingly like genuine title contenders.

Their 2–0 victory over Burnley at the weekend — courtesy of Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernández, both brilliantly assisted by youngsters Jamie Gittens and Marc Guiu — highlighted their growing momentum.

Second in the Premier League and just six points behind leaders Arsenal, Chelsea have picked up three consecutive wins while suffering only one defeat in their last six matches.

Such form has not gone unnoticed, with Barcelona reportedly now circling one of the club’s standout performers this season.

According to Fichajes, Barcelona have expressed interest in Chelsea winger Pedro Neto, with sporting director Deco said to be particularly impressed by the Portuguese attacker.

The report claims that Neto is under close surveillance by the Blaugrana hierarchy, who could test Chelsea’s resolve with a future offer. While a mid-season transfer seems unlikely due to financial limitations, a serious bid could emerge in the summer window.

Maresca has described Neto as “fantastic,” and the 25-year-old has already contributed six goals and assists across competitions this season. He is reportedly happy at Stamford Bridge for now, but his stance could change if Barcelona make an official approach.

Following the arrival of Marcus Rashford on loan this summer, Barcelona may still seek a versatile winger capable of playing on either flank to compete with Lamine Yamal and Raphinha — a role Neto could perfectly fill.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have a wealth of attacking options including Estevao, Jamie Gittens, and Alejandro Garnacho, but Neto remains one of their most dangerous and proven contributors. His potential departure would be a significant decision for the Blues, who must weigh his value now against future squad planning.
