'Coach Fathi is turning me into a hybrid striker,' says Rudolf  Mensah after All Blacks’ first away win

Swedru All Blacks striker Rudolf Mensah says head coach Ahmed Ibrahim Fathi is shaping him into a ‘hybrid striker’ as the club evolves tactically.

The remarks came after All Blacks 3-2 shock win over Dreams FC at the University of Ghana Stadium, marking the clubs first away victory of the 2025-2026 season.

Mensah, who scored 27 goals in 30 games to help All Blacks reach the top division, was named Man of the Match. He expressed optimism about the teams future following the win.

When the coach, Ahmed Fathi, came in, hes trying his best to create a different type of football in Ghana, Mensah said.

Hes trying to create hybrid players; for me, hes trying to create a hybrid striker in me. I can also be a midfielder, a defender, and a striker, he added.
