Arsenal will consider loaning out Ethan Nwaneri in January to get the player more first team minutes. The 18-year-old is one Arsenal’s most exciting prospects, but has struggled to break firmly into Mikel Arteta’s set up.

Nwaneri made history when he became the youngest ever Premier League player at just 15 years, 181 days. He was tipped to then grow into an influential figure at Arsenal, but has so far had to settle for a bit part role.

Though he has featured regularly in the EFL Cup and as a substitute in the Premier League, he has yet to start a league match for Arsenal this season. He could now be set for a refresh away from the club.

The Daily Mail has reported that Arsenal are now willing to listen to loan offers for the youngster in January, if the circumstances are right and the player will be guaranteed playing time.

Arsenal invested heavily in attacking reinforcement this summer. The arrivals of Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke in the attacking midfield areas have pushed Nwaneri further down the pecking order.

The player is still highly rated at Arsenal and is tipped to play a big part in the future. He is also an integral part of the England U21 setup.

The Daily Mail adds that Nwaneri is just one of four players Arsenal are open to moving on this January. Ben White, Gabriel Martinelli, and Gabriel Jesus are the other three.

Ben White has suffered from persistent injury niggles and now finds himself behind Jurrien Timber in the pecking order. He is not believed to be agitating for a move away but his situation is being monitored.

Martinelli has suffered from a dip in form over the past few seasons and now finds himself behind Leandro Trossard in the pecking order. He has impressed with cameos off the bench and is still rated highly by Arteta, but recent reports have linked him with a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.

Arsenal are reportedly open to listen to substantial offers for the player. Gabriel Jesus is another player whose Arsenal career has been hampered by injuries.

He hasn’t featured since January after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in last season’s FA Cup third round. He has recently rejoined first team training, but the arrival of Viktor Gyokeres is likely to limit his first team minutes.

Arsenal are reportedly open to offers for Jesus in January or over the summer.

Quick take: Transfer watch: this move could reshape selection options and tactical balance in coming weeks. If incentives and add-ons are confirmed, expect follow-up negotiations or medicals to move quickly. We’ll keep an eye on confirmed details as the story develops from official sources.
