Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United have all scouted Levante striker Etta Eyong. The Cameroon international has starred in La Liga this season this season, scoring six goals and adding three assists in 12 games.

Only Kylian Mbappe has more goal contributions in La Liga than Eyong, and TalkSport has reported that several top European clubs are now monitoring the player’s progress. Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man United are joined by West Ham as Premier League clubs who are keen on the player, while La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are also on notice.

Eyong only joined Levante in September from Villarreal for €3m. In fact he scored one of his La Liga goals while playing for Villarreal before making the move to Levante. As players are not permitted to play for three clubs in a single season, a January move the player is not possible.

So far no interested suitor has made a concrete move for the player, but could lay the groundwork for a future swoop.

Arsenal are believed to be in the market for a young No.9 to deputize for main striker Viktor Gyokeres. The long term future of Gabriel Jesus remains unclear with the player being linked with away from the club for more first team minutes.

Injuries have hampered much of Jesus’ Arsenal career, and although he is nearing a return he is expected to struggle for playing time behind Gyokeres. A move to another Premier League club has been mooted, while rumours of a return to Brazil have been given life by the player admitting his future ambition to do so.

Kai Havertz and Mikel Merino have deputized as strikers but are not seen as long term solutions in that position. Manchester United are also open to adding more attacking reinforcements next summer. Joshua Zirkzee looks set to depart the club, while Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford are likely to make their loan moves permanent over the summer.

As is stands, new signing Benjamin Sesko remains the only senior natural No.9 at the club. Youngster Chido Obi is highly rated but has struggled to break into the first team picture at United. Chelsea have already added Liam Delap and Joao Pedro last summer, while also securing a pre-agreement for Strasbourg’s Emanuel Emegha.

Youngsters Marc Guiu and Tyrique George are expected to be available for transfer however, so Chelsea could look to add more young talent to their ranks. Eyong is valued at in excess of €30m.
