Mohammed Kudus to stay with Tottenham during international break to recover from knock

Tottenham Hotspur winger Mohammed Kudus will remain in London during the international break as he continues his recovery from a minor injury that has sidelined him for the club’s last two matches.The Ghana international, who had started every Premier League game this season before the setback, was described by manager Thomas Frank as "touch and go" ahead of the weekend clash against Manchester United. Kudus was ultimately not included in the matchday squad.It has now been agreed that the 25-year-old will not travel to join Ghana for their upcoming international friendlies against South Korea and Japan, allowing him to focus on regaining full fitness at Hotspur Way."Very confident that he should be available for the next one," Frank said confidently after Saturday’s match, referring to the north London derby against Arsenal on November 23.Kudus has been one of Spurs’ most effective players this season, registering four assists, the joint-highest in the squad. His absence has been felt in recent weeks, though his injury is not considered serious.
