Kobina Amissah confident Bechem United will survive Ghana Premier League relegation battle

Bechem United’s new head coach, Kobina Amissah, has expressed confidence that the club will retain its Ghana Premier League status despite their difficult start to the season.The Hunters have endured a disappointing campaign, winning only once, drawing three times, and losing four of their opening eight fixtures.Their poor run led to the dismissal of head coach Desmond Isaac-Botchway and his assistant Bright Anthony Konadu, paving the way for Amissah’s appointment.The experienced tactician, who has previously guided several clubs to stability in difficult situations, believes Bechem United have enough quality to climb out of the relegation zone.“I can say the league is still young. We have about 25 matches to go, so we have more time."We are going to bounce back strongly and make sure we do the right things. We have to concentrate and make sure we play according to the instructions we gave them."Bechem United currently sit 16th on the table with six points from nine matches.Amissah’s immediate task will be to restore confidence and consistency as the team seeks to reverse its early-season struggles and secure a mid-table finish by the end of the campaign.
