Hearts of Oak have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for failing to control their supporters during Sundayâs Super Clash defeat to Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium. The decision follows chaotic scenes after referee Reginald Collins Amoah blew the final whistle in a match that ended 1-0 in favour of Kotoko. Several Hearts players and fans confronted the referee over his key decisions, including a first-half penalty awarded to Kotoko and a late offside call that denied Mawuli Wayo what would have been an equaliser. The just-ended Super Clash nearly turned into a game of fists between a Hearts of Oak player and the referee following Phobias defeat.#SportyFM pic.twitter.com/0SW8dUbvv4â SportyFM Ghana (@SportyFM_) November 9, 2025Video footage showed angry supporters throwing objects onto the pitch as security personnel struggled to restore order.
