WAFA’s Evans Adeti, AshantiGold’s Raphael Ankamah and Northern City’s Wungah Williams nominated for Division One League Player of the Month

Three players have been shortlisted for the NASCO Access Bank Division One League September/October Player of the Month award following standout performances in the early stages of the season.The nominees are Evans Adeti of WAFA, Raphael Ankamah of FC AshantiGold ’04, and Wungah Williams of Northern City FC.Evans Adeti has played a key role in WAFA’s impressive start, helping them secure their first away win of the campaign against True Democracy in Tema. His consistent displays earned him three NASCO Player of the Match awards, the most across all zones, and he also found the back of the net once.FC AshantiGold ’04 forward Raphael Ankamah has been equally influential, scoring two goals and winning two NASCO Player of the Match awards in four games, as his side climbed to the top of Zone Two with 13 points.For Northern City FC, striker Wungah Williams has been in exceptional form, netting five goals in four matches and earning two Player of the Match awards, making him one of the league's most prolific scorers so far.The winner will receive a 24-inch NASCO television set.
