Official: Pradé and Fiorentina part ways

Fiorentina director Daniele Pradé has left the club by mutual consent, the club announced on Saturday.

Fiorentina announced on Saturday that their director Pradé has left the club by mutual consent.

“ACF Fiorentina announces that, by mutual consent, it has terminated the contract of Sporting Director Daniele Prade on Saturday,” the Tuscans said in a statement.

“The club, starting from President Rocco Commisso and his wife Catherine as well as General Manager Alessandro Ferrari, would like to thank Director Prade for these years together, marked by passion and professionalism.

“The President and his wife Catherine said: “We wish Daniele all the best for the future, along with our sincere respect and affection.”

Pradé had been serving as Fiorentina’s director of sport for seven years but has received strong criticism from the Viola fanbase in recent months.

Fiorentina have had a depressing start to the season under new coach Stefano Pioli, collecting just four points in nine games.

The Tuscans haven’t yet won a game in Serie A this term and tomorrow they host Lecce at the Stadio Franchi.

Quick take: Big picture: the update fits broader trends across the league with schedule pressure and tight tables. Supporters will watch for clarity from training ground reports and official briefings. We’ll keep an eye on confirmed details as the story develops from official sources.
