Ghanaian international Terry Yegbe has opened up on his failed move to the English Premier League during the January transfer window.Yegbeâs potential move to the English top-flight fell through last winter, with the 24-year-old joining French Ligue 1 side, FC Metz in the summer window. The former Elfsborg star was a top transfer target for several clubs in the Premier League, but the move hit a snag.âAt Elfsborg, everything went well,â he says. âThe first year was great. I almost got a move to the Premier League in January, but it didnât happen. Still, I told myself Iâll keep working. Itâs all part of the process," he told Flashscore in an interview.Yegbeâs outstanding display in Sweden earned him a significant move to FC Metz during the summer window. He signed a four-year deal that will keep him at the club until summer 2029.The 24-year-old centre-back has since become a mainstay at FC Metz, making eight appearances in the French Ligue 1 this season.Having established himself as a key cog at the club, the rock-solid defender will be hoping to maintain his form throughout the campaign.
