AC Milan eyeing move for “magnificent” Arsenal forward who is free to leave The Emirates

Arsenal are enjoying a stellar start to the 2025/26 season, sitting atop the Premier League table and performing strongly in the Champions League.

Gabriel Martinelli is in scintillating form, Martin Ødegaard has returned to his best, and new signings Viktor Gyökeres, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke are already making a noticeable impact.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s defence remains as solid as ever, having conceded just three goals in nine Premier League games.

Yet not everybody is enjoying life at The Emirates — most notably Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, who has not featured for the Gunners in over a year due to a cruciate ligament injury.

Now back in training, it seems increasingly likely that his future may lie away from Arsenal, especially with competition up front and limited playing opportunities.

According to Milan Live, AC Milan are actively monitoring the situation and are prepared to make a move for Jesus in the January transfer window.

The Italian club are reportedly considering a loan with an option to buy for around £26 million after the New Year.

Other clubs, including Juventus, West Ham, Bournemouth, and Fulham, have also expressed interest in the striker, who is a four-time Premier League champion with Manchester City.

Once described as “magnificent” by Arsenal legend Tony Adams, Jesus is keen to secure regular playing time to boost his chances of making Brazil’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.

With Arsenal thriving and Gyökeres starting to stake a claim up front, a move away for Jesus could benefit both the player and the club, allowing him to regain form and Milan to add a proven forward to their ranks.
