Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has urged his players to move on from the departure of striker Albert Amoah, who has completed a transfer to Libyan side Al Ahly Benghazi.Amoah sealed a two-year deal with the North African club shortly after Kotokoâs exit from the CAF Confederation Cup at the hands of Wydad Athletic Club. His absence is expected to be felt as the Porcupine Warriors continue their 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.Speaking ahead of Kotokoâs Matchday 8 encounter against Karela United at the Baba Yara Stadium, Zito emphasized the need for the squad to remain focused and adapt quickly.âItâs all about attitude. Definitely, he is gone. There is no need to continue crying. We wonât get him back, so we are preparing the other players to take over," Zito said."Itâs up to the players to also prove that they deserve to be there. We must continue with what we have to get what we want,â he added.Kick-off for the Kotoko versus Karela United clash is scheduled for 15:00 GMT on Sunday.
