Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri reunited with his former Juventus player Juan Cuadrado after Milan-Pisa last night: ‘I would have saved your penalty.’
Cuadrado’s Pisa held Milan to a 2-2 draw at San Siro on Friday, and the Colombian scored his first goal for the Nerazzurri from the spot in the second half.
After the game, he reunited with his former Juventus coach Allegri in the interview area at San Siro. Sky Sport posted the video of the reunion on Instagram, showing Allegri telling the Colombian: “If I were in goal, I would have saved your penalty.”
“I knew you were going to shoot at the near post. I said: ‘If he [Maignan] dives at the near post, he’ll save it.”
The Milan keeper, on the other hand, picked the opposite side and was sent the wrong way, so Cuadrado levelled the game for the away side.
