Conference League: Rapid Vienna vs. Fiorentina – Probable line-ups and where to watch 

Stefano Pioli is expected to turn to Edin Dzeko rather than Moise Kean as Fiorentina take on Rapid Wien in the Austrian capital in the Conference League on Thursday evening. 

The Viola have endured a miserable start to the Serie A campaign, sitting winless in the relegation zone with three points from their first seven matches of the season, but did win their first Conference League match of the campaign with a 2-0 victory over Sigma in October. 

Pre-match reports suggest that Kean will be given a rest in Austria. He withdrew from the Italy national team squad with an ankle injury last week and rushed back in time to face Milan in San Siro on Sunday. 

Pioli will reportedly turn to an attacking partnership of Dzeko and Roberto Piccoli this evening. 

There could be a series of rotations elsewhere, with potential opportunities for the likes of 

Mattia Viti, Fabiano Parisi and Cher Ndour. Sky Sport Italia predicts that 19-year-old Niccolo Fortini will start at right wing-back in order to give a rest to Dodo. 

Tonight’s game will kick off in the early evening slot at 17.45 BST.
