Basic from zero to hero at Lazio, but it could turn again soon

Toma Basic has emerged as the unexpected hero for Lazio, as he had been cut from the squad completely, but has now started the last three games, but it can all change again in January.

The midfielder spent the first few weeks of the campaign frozen out of the team and left off the limited Serie A list, even when the club could not bring in any new players due to the transfer embargo.
