Fiorentina fans stepped up their protest against director of sport Daniele Pradè by placing insulting stickers around the stadium with his head on the body of a pig.
The images were spotted by FirenzeViola around the Stadio Artemio Franchi ahead of this weekend’s Serie A match against Milan.
They appear to feature a modified photograph of his face, with pointy ears, stuck on the body of a pig.
‘Leave’ was the only word on the message.
There were no names attached and so far none of the official ultras groups have come forward to claim responsibility for the stickers.
Pradè had already been targeted by figures from the Curva Fiesole, who handed out flyers with insulting statements during the most recent home game against Roma.
With a dismal start to the campaign, Fiorentina fans are pinning most of the blame onto the director of sport, rather than new coach Stefano Pioli.
Pradè has been at the club since 2019, although before that he had also held the role of director of sport with the Viola from 2012 to 2016.
His other clubs were Roma, Sampdoria and Udinese.
