One Liverpool star has started the international break in outstanding form for his country, as fans rave about his performance on social media.

The international break came at a good time for Liverpool, with Arne Slot’s side having suffered three straight defeats.

Liverpool’s 2-1 loss at Chelsea meant they surrendered first place to title rivals Arsenal by a point, with Reds hosting Man United at Anfield next.

Slot has faced defensive issues this season after Liverpool missed out on Marc Guehi in the summer transfer window, and the Dutchman is still looking for stability in his back four.

Slot signed Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer to replace the departed Trent Alexander-Arnold, who joined Real Madrid.

However, Frimpong’s form has opened the door at right-back with Dominik Szoboszlai deputising in the position.

Conor Bradley missed his opportunity against Chelsea, and has not been able to take advantage of Frimpong’s form.
