Ghanaian attacker Bernard Tekpetey was the hero as Ludogorets Razgrad defeated Levski Sofia 1â0 to lift the Bulgarian Super Cup at Vasil Levski Stadium.Coming off the bench in the 69th minute, Tekpetey needed just one minute to make the difference, rising to head home the winner in the 70th minute after a precise cross from Son.The goal capped a tight encounter in which Ludogorets had 60% possession but only three shots on target, while Levski created chances of their own in an open second half.Per-Mathias Högmoâs players, who won his first trophy at the helm of the Razgrad team, had other chances, but failed to score a second goal. Thus, Ludogorets won its 9th Bulgarian Super Cup, which is the 27th trophy in total in the clubâs showcase.Levski pushed hard late on, making several attacking substitutions, but Ludogorets defended their lead with discipline through five minutes of added time.Ludogorets now turn their attention to the league, where they face PFC Lokomotiv Sofia 1929 away in their next match on Saturday, February 7.
