It is expected to be a quiet night at the Olimpico, with roughly 2000 spectators expected in Rome’s famous stadium.
Lazio fans are protesting the ownership of Claudio Lotito, after unrest grows at the president’s lack of spending and poor management of the club.
On the pitch, Maurizio Sarri has handed a debut to Daniel Maldini, who is expected to play as a false 9 in-between Isaksen and Pedro. Provstgaard also comes into the XI, with Romagnoli set to complete a move to Qatari side Al-Sadd.
Meanwhile, Genoa coach Daniele De Rossi has stuck with his strongest available side.
For De Rossi, it is a return to a stadium where he spent many happy years at with Roma – against the Giallorossi’s fierce city rivals.
Lazio: Provedel; Marusic, Gila, Provstgaard, Pellegrini; Basic, Cataldi, Taylor; Isaksen, Maldini, Pedro
