Sky Sport Italia reports that Mike Maignan will put pen to paper on a new contract with Milan by tomorrow, while Roma have asked for Christopher Nkunku.
French goalkeeper Maignan will sign a contract extension with Milan either today or tomorrow, Saturday, January 31, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The two parties had reached an agreement over the last few weeks, and the 30-year-old is now ready to commit his future to the Rossoneri by extending his stay beyond June 2026.
It will be a new deal until 2031 or 2030, with an option for a further campaign.
Milan are busy in the final days of the January transfer window as Sky and Gazzetta report the Serie A giants have an agreement with Crystal Palace for Jean-Philippe Mateta.
However, with Niclas Fullkrug, who already moved to San Siro this month, the Rossoneri would need to offload Nkunku.
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the ex-Chelsea striker has attracted interest from Roma and other clubs who have already sounded out his availability.
