January transfer liveblog: Inter done deal, Juventus look for new striker

Several Serie A clubs have already welcomed reinforcements this month. Milan were the first club to register a new signing as the Rossoneri signed Niclas Fullkrug from West Ham, on loan with an option to buy.

More recently, another Premier League striker, Donyell Malen, joined Roma on loan with an option to buy from Aston Villa.

The Giallorossi have also secured the services of Robinio Vaz from Olympique Marseille, in this case on a permanent deal.

Napoli have signed Giovane from Hellas Verona, and Juventus are chasing a new striker, but their attempts to sign either Jean-Philippe Mateta from Crystal Palace or Youssef En-Nesyri were in vain.

According to Sky Sport, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ David Møller Wolfe is a Roma target. The English club’s requests for the Norwegian, however, are currently very high.

Corinthians have confirmed an agreement for the Brazilian defender, born in 2003. It’s a loan with a performance-related obligation to buy for €5.5/6m.

According to Sky, Roma have opened talks to sign Belgian winger Carrasco on loan from Al-Shabab.

Fenerbahce coach Tedesco: “The Youssi situation is very simple from my perspective. Until he’s a Fenerbahce player, he’s one of my players, one of our players. It is also true, however, that we are looking for a striker.”

As talks between Juventus and the Morocco striker collapsed, Gazzetta mentions Chiesa, Zirkzee and Beto among the Bianconeri’s targets.
