Aduana FC coach Aristic Cioab has identified the gruelling travel distances in the Ghana Premier League as a primary challenge for his team's away performances, as they prepare for a lengthy trip to face Swedru All Blacks.Speaking ahead of their Matchday 20 clash on Sunday, the Romanian manager highlighted the physical toll of domestic travel. "It's very difficult in away games, you know; there's more distance," Cioab said. "Our team is travelling maybe 14 hours, 15 hours from the game, but this is football."The journey from Aduana's home base in Dormaa to the match venue in Swedru represents one of the longer trips in the league schedule. Despite the logistical hurdle, Cioab maintains a pragmatic outlook, accepting it as an inherent part of the competition.Aduana FC currently sits third in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League table after 19 matches, recording nine wins, five draws, and five losses. They trail league leaders Medeama SC by seven points as they enter the second half of the season. The team will be looking to overcome their travel fatigue and secure a positive result against Swedru All Blacks to maintain their position near the top of the table and keep pressure on the teams above them. Cioab's comments shed light on one of the less-discussed but significant challenges teams face in Ghana's top-flight football competition.
