After a rocky start that had fans biting their nails, Fulham are finally hitting their stride this season.
From scraping just two wins in their first nine games and flirting with relegation, Marco Silva’s side has turned a corner, losing only once in their last seven matches.
Climbing toward the top half of the table, the Cottagers are showing signs they can compete with the league’s big guns.
Harry Wilson has been a revelation with seven goals, but Silva is hungry to add even more firepower—and one target has emerged as a tantalizing option.
Fulham are reportedly in the mix to sign AZ Alkmaar forward Troy Parrott, competing with Wolfsburg and Real Betis for the Republic of Ireland international, according to The Independent.
Parrott, 23, has become a standout figure after scoring five goals in key matches that helped Ireland secure a place in the 2026 World Cup play-offs.
Described as an “unbelievable” striker by his countryman Paddy Barrett, he has netted nine goals in 13 Eredivisie appearances this season, along with 10 more in Conference League qualifiers and the KNVB Cup.
AZ Alkmaar are understood to value Parrott above the €20m (£17.4m) offer Wolfsburg reportedly discussed, while Fulham are leading the Premier League interest.
The striker, formerly of Tottenham Hotspur, is keen to return to England eventually but wants to ensure his next move aligns with both his development and career trajectory, making him deliberate in weighing offers.
Over the years, he's had the pleasure of interviewing some of the biggest names in world sport, including Usain Bolt, Rafael Nadal, Christian Pulisic, and more.
