New signings Donyell Malen and Robinio Vaz are in the Roma squad for tomorrow’s trip to Torino, but Leon Bailey pulled out with yet another injury.
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino 17.00 GMT (18.00 CET) on Sunday.
Coach Gian Piero Gasperini had initially announced the list of players making the journey and it had Bailey on it.
However, he pulled out at the last minute and is therefore yet again out of action, having missed so many games already this season following the loan from Aston Villa.
It had been hoped that assisting in Tuesday’s Coppa Italia defeat to Torino would be a reboot for Bailey, but his fitness woes remain a problem.
He joins the long list of absentees, which already included Artem Dovbyk, Evan Ferguson, Stephan El Shaarawy, Tommaso Baldanzi, Angelino and Pierluigi Gollini.
Neil El Aynaoui is still on international duty, but Evan Ndicka returns after his experience at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The good news for Gasperini is the presence of January signings Malen from Aston Villa and ex-Olympique Marseille forward Robinio Vaz.
Svilar, Vasquez, Zelezny; Rensch, Tsimikas, Ndicka, Celik, Hermoso, Mancini, Ziolkowski, Wesley, Ghilardi; Kone, Cristante, Pisilli, Pellegrini; Soulé, Dybala, Arena, Vaz, Malen
