Report Inter reject Galatasaray offer for Calhanoglu

Inter have reportedly rejected an offer from Galatasaray for Hakan Calhanoglu, but the midfielder’s future at the club beyond this season remains uncertain.

Galatasaray have targeted several Serie A midfielders, including Milan’s Youssouf Fofana and Inter’s Calhanoglu.

Calciomercato.com recaps the latest updates about the future of the Turkish midfielder, who had already been linked with a move to Galatasaray last summer.

SportsDigitale has reported that Inter rejected an offer below €25m for Calhanoglu, and Fabrizio Romano confirms the Nerazzurri are unwilling to sell their midfield star in the January transfer window.

The Italian transfer pundit, however, adds that Calhanoglu’s future at the Stadio Meazza beyond the summer remains uncertain as the player’s agents will necessarily need to negotiate a contract extension with the Nerazzurri.

Inter are unwilling to sell Calhanoglu during the winter transfer window, but it remains to be seen whether they’ll strike an agreement with his entourage to extend his contract beyond 2027.
