Roma have officially confirmed the signing of highly-rated young forward Robinio Vaz on a permanent transfer from Marseille.
In a statement released by the club, Roma announced that the 18-year-old striker has signed a four-year contract running until June 2030. Vaz arrives in the capital after emerging as one of the most promising attacking talents of his age group in France.
He made his senior debut under Roberto De Zerbi in January last year, featuring in a Coupe de France match against Lille.
Vaz went on to make his Ligue 1 debut later that season and has also gained experience in the Champions League campaign this year.
In total, he registered 22 senior appearances for Marseille across all competitions, scoring four goals and further enhancing his reputation as one of France’s standout Under-20 prospects.
Roma view the move as a long-term investment, with Vaz expected to continue his development in Italy as part of the club’s broader youth-focused strategy.
The striker has chosen to wear the No.78 shirt for the Giallorossi.
Roma concluded their announcement with a warm welcome to their newest arrival: “Welcome to Rome, Robinio.”
