The champions sealed their status with a gritty 2-1 away win over Madina Republicans on Saturday, a result that kept them firmly at the summit and highlighted their title credentials once again.

It marks a repeat of last seasons script, when the club also ended the first round in first place before going on to lift the league trophy, reinforcing their reputation as a dominant force in the division.

Led by Ghana football icon and Black Stars deputy coach John Paintsil, the team has displayed admirable consistency, resilience, and tactical discipline throughout the campaign.

John Paintsil FC have controlled the standings from the opening matchday to the close of the first round, sending a clear message of their intention to defend the Zone 5 title. Their organisation and game management have been central to a run that has left rivals chasing.

After 15 matches, the side sits comfortably on 30 points, with eight wins, three draws, and three defeats. Their strong defensive structure has been particularly impressive, conceding just 13 goals the fewest in the zone while scoring 21 at the other end.
